I don't think Ryan is available. If we are trading Spezza we will have lost Spezza, Michalek and Hemsky already this summer. The organization can't lose Ryan on top of that. He will be offered an 8 year deal at $6.5M per and he will stay with the Sens. It would be a huge PR disaster if they were to lose Ryan. So it just won't happen. But, Spezza is available!

First off why do they need offense? They need some more good D and grab a ufa forward not trade for one. And no way Skinner is moved that's really not productive for Carolina.

I think there is a small chance he goes simply because you guys ant in a win now position and could use some better prospects and picks.

Any interest in bringing big Buff home to Minnesota? He could be available as well as Kane and probably could come a bit cheaper?

Ryan doesn't leave - if he did it would be for a pretty blockbuster return. No chance Ottawa gives up what it did to get him and then trades him one year later unless it's a big return. This is the first time I've heard anything of the sort, and I suspect it's just a random musing...like saying the Wild could sign Sidney Crosby.

I like Skinner and Ryan, but personally would not be willing to move any of the Wild potentials in order to acquire either.

Thats a big fat HELL NO on Kane. I'd take him as a UFA but sure the hell wouldn't give up anything to get him.

At this point the Wild are a team still coming together... on the heels of last season I think the best thing to do is either stand pat or sign Vanek, although I would rather see Fletch going after Stastny.

I say let this young group of moderate to high potential pieces complete their transitions to the NHL while continuing to develop the young players still awaiting their arrival.

Wouldn't that be nice! I'd give up Koivu and Zucker for Kessler, but I know that wouldn't get it done. I know number one centers are hard to come by in this day and age, but unfortunately Kessler is just not an elite enough player to warrant 2 of the Wild top young players.

Kane is definitely the only one of those three players that is 'available', and the price will be steep, probably steeper than it would be on the other two guys even if they were available.

There's a big difference between 'available' and 'making a dream roster in NHL14'.

James Neal may be shopped. Kind of surprised he isn't on this list.
